Aerial view of the Wapping Tunnel vent, in Crown Street park, where the original Crown Street Station was located. This is the first of a series of ventilation shafts, built throughout the length of the tunnel. The grass bank in the park, now hides the original portal of the 1829 Crown Street Tunnel leading from Crown Street Station to the Wapping Cutting, Edge Hill.
